Royal Society of Chemistry

The Royal Society of Chemistry is the world’s leading chemistry community, advancing excellence in the chemical sciences. With over 50,000 members and a knowledge business that spans the globe, we are the UK’s professional body for chemical scientists; a not-for-profit organisation with 175 years of history and an international vision for the future. We promote, support and celebrate chemistry. We work to shape the future of the chemical sciences – for the benefit of science and humanity.

Vapourtec

Vapourtec are a technology company located near Cambridge in the UK, with many years of experience producing world leading laboratory equipment serving the pharmaceutical drug discovery industry. Vapourtec manufacture the E- and R-Series flow chemistry system and the UV-150 photochemical reactor. The UV-150 is a continuous photochemical reactor with temperature control from -20oC to 80oC. There are 3 light sources available with wavelengths from 220 nm – 650 nm.

• Low pressure mercury lamp
• Medium pressure mercury lamp
• High efficiency LEDs

All light sources are interlocked, no further light shielding is required and forced ventilation prevents build-up of flammable gases or vapours. The reactor has temperature control from -20oC to 80oC.
