We would like to welcome all of our delegates to the Welcome Reception held in the O’Reilly Hall, located on the UCD Campus.
The best of contemporary architecture and Irish art have created O’Reilly Hall. The airy conservatory overlooks the campus lake and all along the walls of the hall itself are paintings commissioned from Irish Artists.
This evening will provide an opportunity for delegates to meet in a relaxed environment and catch up with old friends, as well as connect with new.

We will have several restaurants in Dublin City Centre taking part in our delegate group dining experience. Tables for 20-25 people will be booked in several restaurants across the city. Delegates will have the opportunity to sign up to avail of one of these places. This offers a great networking and social opportunity for delegates and a chance to try out some of Dublin’s most popular restaurants.
Please note: Payment will be required from each delegate at the restaurant. Transport is not included.

The Photo IUPAC 2018 gala dinner will take place in the Round Room at the Mansion House. The Round Room at the Mansion House was built in 1821 to receive King George IV as it was deemed that there was no room grand enough in the city to receive royalty. For nearly 200 years the Round Room has continued making history and has been the venue of choice for some of the most notable events in Irish History, such as the proclamation of The Irish Declaration of Independence.
On this night delegates will be treated to a scrumptuous 4 course meal with drinks, followed by entertainment which will prove to be a memorable experience for all. The conference dinner will be an unmissable event, stepped in the history of Dublin.
